Words will never explain nor will they ever show just how much you mean to me. It’s a shame because I never knew just how much I loved you until the casket closed. When you left my world left. There’s no human being on this earth that will ever take your place or even be capable of taking your place. You have been so much more than just a mother to me. You were my friend, my father, my teacher, my everything. Everything that I do is for you . You’re my inspiration, and the driving force behind everything I do. You’ve taught me how to be a strong black woman in today’s society, and I thank you for that. I remember there were times when you didn’t have anything, but you made sure me, Shamyrah, the twins, and quan had everything we needed. So even though you aren’t physically here with me I know you are here with me in spirit so happy Mother’s Day to you and may you rest in peace.
